Pakistan’s largest welfare scheme, Benazir Income Support Program BISP, has taken a revolutionary step in the financial assistance system and decided to introduce the “Sehat Accounts” payment system from August 13, 2025. The first phase of this system will start from August 14, 2025, in 7 major districts of the country, including:

This announcement was made by Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program, that deserving women will be provided with full financial assistance, and personal bank accounts will be opened for these women to empower them.
