The meeting also discussed the BRT project in Gujranwala in detail. Under this project, a BRT system of about 22 kilometers long will be built from Rahwali to Aimanabad, which will include 28 modern stations. 80 feeder buses will connect the entire city and suburbs to this system, and two-way bus service will be available every eight minutes. Gujranwala BRT is also being considered for extension to Gakhar Mandi. Maryam Nawaz directed that traffic flow be managed through smart solutions and four e-bus depots should also be established to improve service efficiency.

Orange and Red Line Projects in Faisalabad
There is also good news for Faisalabad. It was informed in the meeting that there will be 24 stations on the 23.4-kilometer-long Red Line transport system in the city, which will benefit 185,000 people daily. A 29-kilometer journey across 21 stations, the Orange Line will ease daily commutes for 111,000 citizens. Maryam Nawaz directed to inclusion of the route from FIEDMC to Salami Chowk in these projects so that workers in industrial areas can also benefit.

At the end of the meeting, the Chief Minister strictly instructed that all projects should be started without delay and that the routes of e-buses should be decided according to the transportation and needs of the public.
